1. Green Beer ☘️

I mean, this might be the easiest St. Patrick’s Day drink ever! Two ingredients come together in under a minute! Plus, turning beer green is as festive as it gets! I use a light-colored Irish brew. You can also use an American lager (try Budweiser, Miller, or Coors) or a pilsner–whatever you fancy!

Easy Recipe: Add 1-2 drops of green liquid food coloring to a clear beer mug or highball glass. Pour Irish pale ale. Serve immediately.

2. Baileys Mint Martini

I mean, who doesn’t LOVE getting in the Irish Spirit! Baileys and Creme de Menthe liqueur gives it a smooth, minty flavor and a festive green touch for St. Patrick’s Day–or even Christmas!

Easy Recipe: Shake 1 oz Baileys Irish Cream, 1 oz green Creme de Menthe, 1 oz vodka, and 1 oz half & half with ice. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

3. Shamrockarita 🍀

Whenever I’m feeling lucky, I mix this green cocktail made with gold tequila! It’s a festive riff on the Margarita–guaranteed to add a sip of gold to your St. Patrick’s Day!

Easy Recipe: Cut slices of apple with a 2″ shamrock cookie cutter. Rub lime around the rim of a margarita glass, then dip the rim into sugar. Shake ice, 1 1/2 oz tequila blanco, 1 oz sour apple schnapps, 1/2 oz triple sec, and 1/2 oz fresh lime juice. Strain into ice-filled glass. Garnish with shamrock apple slice.

4. Lucky Kiwi Irish Julep

We’ll muddle through somehow. This lucky Irish Julep is made better with vibrant green kiwi fruit and a four leaf mint green garnish.

Easy Recipe: Muddle 1/2 kiwi, 4 cucumber slices, and 8 mint leaves in a shaker. Add 1.5 oz Irish whiskey, 1/2 oz fresh lime juice, 1/2 tbsp honey, and ice. Shake vigorously, strain into an ice-filled Old Fashioned glass. Garnish with kiwi & mint.

5. Sparkling Shamrock Champagne

Looking for a Sham-Rockin’ good time? Here’s something fancy to sip on. This pretty champagne cocktail is perfect for any party!

Easy Recipe: Pour 1 oz Midori into a champagne glass, add a splash of fresh lemon juice, and top with Champagne. Optionally, rim the glass with gold cocktail sugar or add green edible glitter.

6. Irish Fish Bowl

And if you’re lucky to have good friends–you can’t go wrong with this green Irish Fish Bowl—it’s fit for a crowd!

Easy Recipe: In a fishbowl, combine 6 oz Jameson whiskey, 4 oz sour apple pucker, 4 oz melon liqueur, 1.5 oz blue curaçao, 4 oz apple juice, and 12 oz green apple soda over ice. Garnish with Jameson-infused melon balls and shamrock-shaped apple slices.

7. Lucky Leprechaun Shots

#7 on my list of green cocktails is the Lucky Leprechaun Shot! Decorate the rim of the glass with gold sprinkles for good luck.

Easy Recipe: Rim four shot glasses with corn syrup and dip in gold sprinkles. Pour 1 oz whiskey into each glass, then top with 1 oz apple schnapps. 

8. Four Leaf Clover Mimosa

Planning a St. Patrick’s Day brunch? This green cocktail is naturally colored with emerald mint, cucumber, and apple. Garnish with a lemon and cucumber.

Easy Recipe: Blend 2 tbsp chopped ginger, 1/2 cucumber, 1/2 green apple, 3 mint sprigs, juice of 1 lemon, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup water in a food processor. Strain the mixture. To serve, combine 2 oz of this juice with 4 oz Prosecco in a glass, garnish with lemon and cucumber slices.

9. Green Irish Sunrise 🧡

I LOVE this cocktail! Mainly because the orange and green colors are festive for St. Patrick’s Day–and it’s delicious!

Easy Recipe: Shake 1 oz green apple liqueur, 1 oz potato-based vodka, 1 oz Blue Curaçao, 2 oz orange juice, and 2 oz sweet and sour mix with ice. Pour into an ice-filled glass and garnish with an orange slice.

Easy Recipe: Shake ice, 2 oz vanilla vodka, 1/2 oz Irish cream, 2 tbsp whipped cream, and 1 tsp pulverized green Lucky Charms marshmallows. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with additional green marshmallow powder. Garnish with skewered Lucky Charms marshmallows.

11. Four Leaf Clover Cocktail

Easy Recipe: Stir 1 1/2 oz Irish whiskey, 1 1/2 oz extra dry vermouth, 1/2 oz green Chartreuse, 1/2 oz creme de menthe, and 1/2 oz chilled water in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a mint leaf.

Easy Recipe: Shake 2 oz Baileys Irish Cream, 2 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey, 2 oz Kahlua, and 1 oz half & half with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a glass and top with whipped cream.

14. St. Patrick’s Midori Sour

Easy Recipe: Shake ice and 1 1/2 oz Midori, 3/4 oz vodka, 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice, 1/2 oz ginger syrup, ½ egg white. Pour into a cocktail glass and garnish with 4 mint leaves.

15. Bailey’s Jell-O Shots

Easy Recipe: Shake 1.5 oz Jameson Irish Whiskey, 1 oz Peach Schnapps, 1.5 oz pineapple juice, and 1 drop green food coloring with ice for 25 seconds. Strain into an ice-filled glass, top with 1 oz lime sparkling soda. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and mint leaves.

17. Green Irish

This green vodka cocktail recipe features the earthy notes of green tea matcha powder. I use any vodka bottle I have on hand, but this cocktail works well with Irish whiskey too.

Easy Recipe: In a mixing glass, thoroughly whip together 2 oz vodka, 1 tsp matcha powder, and honey until smooth. Pour the mixture over ice in a rocks glass, add 1 oz vanilla liqueur, and top with 1 oz cream.

“Here’s to the land of the shamrock so green.” Whenever I’m feeling green, a good smash does the trick.

Easy Recipe: Muddle 1 large mint sprig, 2 lime wedges, and 1/2 oz simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, 1 large egg white, 2 oz seltzer, 2 oz sour apple liqueur, and 1 oz vodka. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a small mint sprig.

For fans of creamy, minty drinks, the Irish Eyes cocktail is guaranteed to make you smile. And it’s simple to mix up. “When Irish eyes are smiling, Sure, ’tis like a morn’ in Spring…”

Easy Recipe: Shake 1 oz Irish whiskey, 1/4 oz green crème de menthe, and 2 oz cream with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry.

20. Fuzzy Leprechaun

I tried out this green vodka cocktail this past week. I just had to share the recipe! I’m pretty sure this one of the best St. Patrick’s Day drinks I’ve had. The Fuzzy Leprchaun is bright green and tastes like a peach.

Easy Recipe: I mix 1 oz each of peach schnapps and vodka in a glass filled with ice, then top with lemon-lime soda for a sweet, green St. Patrick’s Day sipper. Garnish with an orange wedge and cherry.

21. Frozen Mango Mojito-rita

I only drink Frozen Green Mango Mojitos on the days that end in “y.” This fruity, frozen green cocktail is a fusion of a Margarita and Mojito.

Easy Recipe: Blend 1/3 cup silver tequila, 1/4 cup lime juice, 1/4 cup frozen mango chunks, 2 tsp honey, 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, and 1 cup ice until slushy. Pour into a salt-rimmed glass. Top with sparkling water. Garnish with lime mint.

22. Irish Grasshopper

I can’t think of a better cocktail to make this St. Paddy’s Day. This green Irish Grasshopper cocktail is chocolaty, minty, and boozy!

Easy Recipe: Mix 4 parts vodka, 2 parts creme de menthe, and 2 parts creme de cacao in an ice-filled shaker. Shake until frosty. Optional: Rim glasses with honey, then a mixture of crushed chocolate chips and green sanding sugar. Pour cocktail into prepared glasses and serve cold.

23. Irish Mojito

The Irish Mojito is a festive green cocktail perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. I love the added green mint element!

Easy Recipe: Muddle 5 mint leaves and 3 lime wedges in a tall glass. Add 1/2-1 oz mint syrup and muddle again. Fill with crushed ice, pour in 2 oz Irish whiskey, top with club soda. Stir, adjust sweetness as needed. Garnish with mint.

Easy Recipe: In a shaker filled with ice, combine 3/4 ounce gin, 3/4 ounce green Chartreuse, 3/4 ounce maraschino liqueur, and 3/4 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice. Shake and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with 3 brandied cherries.

Easy Recipe: In an ice-filled shaker, combine 1 part melon liqueur, 1 part coconut rum, and 4 parts pineapple juice. Shake well and strain into a martini glass. Serve immediately

Easy Recipe: Shake 1 oz Jameson, 1 oz tequila, 1 oz triple sec, 3 oz sweet and sour mix, 1 drop green food coloring, juice from half a lime, and optionally 1/2 oz simple syrup with ice. Strain into a salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with a lime wedge and mint sprig.

Easy Recipe: Shake 1 oz vodka, 1 oz crème de menthe, and 1 oz crème de cacao in a shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

36. After Eight Shot

This sweet green vodka drink is served after 8pm–when the kids are dreaming of sugar plums. This dessert-like drink is named after the popular mint chocolate candy!

Easy Recipe: Pour 1/2 oz Kahlúa into a shot glass. Using a cocktail spoon, slowly pour 1/2 oz creme de menthe over the back of the spoon to layer it on top of the Kahlúa. Then, using the same technique, layer 1/2 oz Baileys Irish cream on top of the creme de menthe.

37. Emerald Jell-O Shots

If you aren’t familiar with green Jell-O shots, they’re made of festive green Jell-O and vodka (Irish whiskey can be used). One shot is STRONG–remember to drink responsibly.

Easy Recipe: Grease the inside of plastic shot cups with cooking spray. Heat 2 cups of water until boiling, then pour it into a mixing bowl with 6 oz of green Jell-O powder, whisking until the powder is completely dissolved. Add 1 cup of Jameson Irish Whiskey and 1/2 cup of cold water, and whisk. Fill each shot cup with the Jell-O mixture and refrigerate for 1-2 hours until firm. Just before serving, top each Jell-O shot with whipped cream and shamrock sprinkles.
