Peanut Butter Whiskey and Coke
I’ve found that the combination of Skrewball peanut butter whiskey and Cokes makes a refreshingly sweet drink. This is how I make the best version of this easy two-ingredient cocktail.
I know it’s basic, but I LOVE that it’s sweet while also being easy. As you know Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey is popular, as its smooth flavor makes for a delicious addition to any cocktail.
What does a Skrewball & Coke taste like?
Like a Reese’s peanut butter cup. Skrewball whiskey is peanut butter forward. And Coke is reminiscent of chocolate. I found that Diet Coke or even regular Pepsi changes the flavor–so use regular Coke for that Reese’s flavor.
Cheers!
What is a Skrewball and Coke?
The Skrewball and Coke is one of the easiest mixed drinks EVER! It’s usually 1 oz Skrewball to 4 oz Coke over ice in a highball or low ball glass. Depending on how strong you like your drink–simply add more alcohol or mixer to suit your taste. It can be garnished with a lime wedge or cocktail cherry.
I adjust the proportions to my liking. An ounce of peanut butter whiskey barely makes a dent flavor-wise against Coke’s sweetness. The quantities in my recipe below are a starting point–change the pour as you like.
Skrewball and Coke tips
Here’s how to take this drink to the next level!
- The 1:4 pour creates a Skrewball and Coke. Serve over plenty of ice in a highball glass!
- I pour Skrewball, which is the most popular brand of peanut butter whiskey but there are other brands like Sheep Dog’s Peanut Butter Whiskey and Sqrrl Peanut Butter Whiskey which work too in my opinion.
- I recommend putting your whiskey in the freezer for ultimate chill—I find that this helps the ice melt slower.
- I always make sure everything is ice cold (even the glass)
Why I love this recipe!
- Peanuts butter flavor! Skrewball makes the list of my favorite peanut butter whiskey flavors.
- Easy To Make. Simply combine the ingredients, pour, and enjoy in just 1 minute!
- Smooth. The Skrewball whisky is mostly hidden by Coke’s sweet taste.
- Large Batch! Depending on the size of my pitcher, I can easily scale it to yield more servings.
I just LOVE this easy Skrewball and Coke drink! Just two ingredients–and ice–are needed for a quick and easy peanut butter whiskey cocktail.
Skrewball and Coke tips

- I recommend putting the Skrewball in the freezer for ultimate chill—I find that this helps the ice melt slower too.

The Skrewball and Coke ratio
Here’s the best Skrewball to Coke ratio:

- 1 parts Skrewball to 4 parts Coke OR
You can adjust the ratio depending on how strong you like your cocktails.
Ingredient notes
This Skrewball and Coke recipe comes together as easily as it goes down! Making a second or even third batch is a breeze! To make this cocktail, you’ll need:
- Skrewball – Peanut butter whiskey spirit
- Coke – Bubbly sweet mixer. I use diet Coke or Coke Zero.
- Ice – Keeps my Skrewball and Coke cocktail perfectly chilled!
- Garnish – I garnish mine with a lime, cocktail cherry, or Reese’s peanut butter cup on the rim
Skrewball and Coke is served cold
The key to a good peanut butter whiskey and Coke is to serve it really cold. There are a few things I do to accomplish that, but it starts with storing your peanut butter whiskey in the freezer. Gin won’t freeze, and will be perfectly chilled for your drink.
Other ways I make my cocktail very cold:
- I mix the cold ingredients with ice cubes. This will dilute the drink slightly as the ice melts in the glass, but will keep it cool.
- I serve my Skrewball and Coke cocktail in a chilled glass. More on this ahead.
Chilling your glass quickly
I fill my glass with ice and cold water for a minute–while I gather ingredients and mix the cocktail–this chills my glass fast! I toss out the ice and water before mixing.
