1. Spicy Tamarind Paloma

I tried one, and it was LOVE AT FIRST SIP! The grapefruit soda and tamarind make for a perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I drink this spicy tamarind vodka cocktail with lots of ice!!

Recipe: Rim a highball glass with chili lime salt. Fill the glass with large ice cubes. Pour in 1.5 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind and top with 4 oz grapefruit soda. Garnish with a lime wheel.

2. Spiked Spicy Tamarind Mangonada

I took a lot of liberties with this boozy spicy Mangonada recipe. What can I say?! I’m ALL about spiking traditionally non-alcoholic drinks!

Recipe: Blend 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 1 cup frozen mango chunks, 1/2 cup mango nectar, 1 oz lime juice, and 1/2 cup ice. Rim a glass with chamoy and Tajin, then pour. Garnish with mango chunks and a lime slice. Serve with a straw.

Tajín and chamoy are popular Mexican condiments. Tajín brand seasoning is made from lime, salt, and mild chili peppers. Chamoy sauce is made of chilies, lime juice, and fruit.

3. Spicy Tamarind Doritos Cocktail

I know what you’re thinking, but trust me, it’s a nice touch to add crushed Doritos your spicy Tamarind vodka cocktail.

Recipe: Shake 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 1 oz coconut water, 3/4 oz lime juice, and 1/2 oz pineapple juice. Shake well with ice. Strain into a glass rimmed with crushed Doritos Tangy Tamarind. Garnish with a pineapple slice coated in Doritos.

4. Spicy Sunrise

My riff on the classic tequila sunrise, but with a spicy twist! I add extra squirts of lime in mine. It’s been a day–I could definitely go for one of these!

Recipe: Shake 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 1 oz orange juice, 1 oz lime juice, and a few splashes of grenadine. Shake well with ice. Strain into a glass and top with Sprite. Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.

5. Chamoy Mexican Candy Jell-O Shots

I mean, who doesn’t love a good Jell-O shot? And while I enjoy the classic flavors, this spicy tamarind version has totally become my favorite.

Recipe: In a bowl, combine 1 packet of fruit-flavored Jell-O and 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until dissolved. Add 1 cup of spicy tamarind vodka and mix well. Pour a layer of chamoy into shot glasses, then fill with the Jell-O mixture. Refrigerate until set. Garnish with a sprinkle of Tajin before serving.

6. Tamarind Vodka Bloody Mary

I’m so glad I tried this recipe because it’s now my all-time favorite Bloody Mary recipe! I use easy Bloody Mary mix instead of tomato juice, and I gotta say–I’m a fan.

Recipe: Half-rim a highball glass with chili lime salt. In the glass, combine 1 1/2 oz spicy tamarind vodka, 5 oz Bloody Mary mix, 1 tbsp lime juice, 3 drops hot sauce, and 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce. Add large ice cubes and stir well. Garnish with a celery stick.

7. Tamimosa

My brunch go-to, for sure. I love to add a splash of fresh lime juice to my Tamimosa for a citrus boost.

Recipe: In a glass, combine 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind and 3 oz orange juice. Top with 2 oz champagne. Stir gently to mix. Garnish with an orange wedge and a sprinkle of Tajin.

8. Spicy Tamarind Vodka Ginger Fizz

I adore ginger, so this recipe was a no-brainer for me. I love to use ginger beer instead of soda water for a little extra spice.

Recipe: In a shaker, combine 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 1 oz ginger syrup, and 1 oz lime juice. Shake well with ice. Strain into a glass filled with ice and top with soda water. Garnish with a lime slice mint.

9. Spicy Tamarind Watermelon Cooler

The watermelon and tamarind in this Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind recipe complement each other perfectly. I add more lime juice to my glass–but that’s just my preference.

Recipe: Shake 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 3 oz watermelon juice, and 1 oz lime juice. Shake well with ice. Strain into a glass filled with ice and top with club soda. Garnish with a lime wheel and a sprig of mint.

10. Spiked Tamarind Vodka Chamoyada

I didn’t expect this spiked Chamoyada to taste as good as it does, but WOW. The mango, chamoy, and spicy Smirnoff tamarind vodka combo takes this cocktail to the next level!!

Recipe: Blend 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 1 cup of frozen mango chunks, 1/2 cup of chamoy, and 1/2 cup of ice. Blend until smooth. Rim a glass with chamoy and Tajin, then pour the mixture into the glass. Serve with a straw and garnish with a slice of lime.

11. Shirley Picante

The Shirley Picante is a sweet, tart, and fizzy tamarind vodka cocktail that brings a spicy twist. I add a little extra grenadine for sweetness.

Recipe: Rim a highball glass with Tajin. In the glass, combine 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 4 oz ginger ale, 1/2 oz grenadine. Stir gently to mix. Garnish with a lime wedge.

12. Spicy Tamarindo Colada

I LOVE a good piña colada, but adding tamarind concentrate takes it to a whole new level. I will say that this recipe is best enjoyed on a beach somewhere.

Recipe: Blend 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 1 oz real coconut syrup, 3/4 oz pineapple juice, and 1 oz lime juice. Add 1/2 cup of ice and blend until smooth. Pour into a footed highball glass and garnish with tamarindo candy.

13. Mango Jumex Spicy Tamarind

I typically stick to using fresh fruit in my cocktails, but this Mango Jumex juice is a game-changer. Add a extra chili powder for more spice.

Recipe: Shake 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind and 3 oz Jumex Mango Nectar with ice. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Rim a tall glass a chamoy sauce and Tajin. Garnish with a lime wedge. 

14. Spicy Tamarind Vodka Sunset

For me, this is the perfect drink to sip on during a summer sunset. The orange juice and tamarind are a perfect match.

Recipe: In a glass layer 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 3 oz mango lemonade, and 2 oz orange Gatorade.

I need to try this Pineapple Punch next! I’ve heard great things from my friend who made it for a party.

Recipe: In a pitcher, combine 1 1/2 cups Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 4 cups pineapple juice, and 1 cup ginger ale. Stir well to mix. Serve in ice-filled glasses. Sprinkle with Tajin (optional).

16. Spicy Tamarind and Chili Cocktail

I fall more on the spicy side of things, so this recipe is right up my alley. I go heavy on the chili powder, but you can adjust to your liking.

Recipe: Shake 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 1 oz tamarind concentrate, 1 oz fresh lime juice, and 1/2 oz simple syrup. Shake well with ice and pour. Garnish with a lime wheel and a red chili. 

17. Spicy Tama-rita

My best tip for this recipe is to use fresh lime juice instead of bottled. It makes a huge difference in taste!

Recipe: Salt the rim of your glass. Shake 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 3/4 oz lime juice, and 3/4 oz agave syrup in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a glass over fresh ice. Top with soda water. Garnish with a lime wheel and a slice of jalapeño.

I’m always ready for a good martini, and this tamarind version does not disappoint.

Recipe: Shake 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 1 oz tamarind concentrate, 1 oz fresh lime juice, and 1/2 oz simple syrup. Shake well with ice and strain into a Tajin rimmed martini glass.

One of my favorite Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind cocktails is this Pina Picante. I just mix pineapple juice, simple syrup, and soda water with spicy Smirnoff tamarind vodka. I totally think you will love this recipe!

Recipe: Combine 1 1/2 oz Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, 1 oz pineapple juice, and 1/4 oz simple syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice that has a Tajin quarter rim. Top with soda water and garnish with a pineapple wedge and a marigold flower.

21. Spicy Tamarind Michelada

Try this Spicy Tamarind vodka Michelada recipe with Mexican beer, Clamato juice, lime, and hot sauce. I like my Miceheladas spicy!
