Easy Recipe: In a shaker, muddle ¼ jalapeño pepper in a cocktail shaker. Add 2 oz blanco tequila, 1 oz orange liqueur, 1 oz fresh lime juice, and ½ oz agave nectar. Fill with ice and strain into a rocks glass rimmed with Tajín or salt. Garnish with extra jalapeño slices and a lime wedge.

Have you tried a Ranch Water? Let me introduce you! It’s equal parts thirst-quenching and satisfying – a simple highball cocktail for any time! I recommend a good silver tequila.
Easy Recipe: Combine 2 oz of tequila with 4 oz of Topo Chico mineral water and a squeeze of lime juice. Serve in a Long Drink (or Collins) glass with ice and a lime wedge garnish.

4. Batanga
My favorite drink when I’m out at a bar–this tequila and Coke with a lime twist is known for its lime-y and smokey flavors!
Easy Recipe: Simply mix 1.5 oz of tequila and 4.5 oz of Coke in a glass filled with ice. Feel free to add a lime wedge for an extra zesty kick. Serve it in a highball glass with a salted rim.
5. Brave Bull
Tequila and Kahlua come together in a fun and simple cocktail known as the Brave Bull—also known as a Black Russian with tequila. I sip it–don’t slurp this one.
Easy Recipe: Add 1 part Kahlúa coffee liqueur and 2 parts tequila blanco to glass with ice, then mix.

This Tequila Slammer is made with tequila and ginger ale. I actually think that muddling extra lime in the glass is lovely–I always have limes in the fridge. I also make sure to chill the tequila, ginger ale, and even the glass!!
